Job Title: Manager, Markets & Growth – Energy

The Opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager to join our Markets & Growth (M&G) team on a permanent basis. This role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Our M&G team spans across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and the US and more broadly forms part of our global Clients Markets & Growth function. M&G plays an integral role in executing the firm's strategy and is responsible for driving profitable growth with a specific focus on our chosen industries, markets, and clients.
This role has a particular focus on the Australia Energy Industry. You'll be responsible for supporting industry collaboration, growth, and client engagement. The opportunity reports to our Perth-based Energy Industry Senior Manager and will work closely with the Australia Energy Industry stakeholders to support the Energy strategy across the region.
About You: The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a law firm, professional services, or industry business development environmentDemonstrated experience in coaching teams and managing major projects and/or initiativesCommercial awareness and an innovative mindset for developing and evolving ways of workingStrong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with the partnership and business servicesEnthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects and activitiesPrevious experience in a client-facing capacity including client listening experienceAbility to influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation with strong executive presenceWhat Makes Ashurst a Great Place to Work?
