Manager Marketing, Communications And Engagement

Darwin City Council have a current vacancyfor a Manager Marketing Communications and Engagement located in marketing team within the Office of the Lord Mayor and CEO.Attached is the Position Description for your information.
Position Objective:
This position collaborates across the organisation to deliver cost effective and efficient communications, marketing, and engagement services to the organisation. It interprets high level strategy into priority communications campaigns, projects and programs and oversees the day to day output, management, evaluation and reporting of a professional team across the disciplines of marketing, communications, internal communications, and engagement.
The role leads and builds organisational capacity in the application of engagement practices based on IAP2 (International Association Public Participation) principles and approaches to inform priorities and decision making by Council.
Position prerequisites
• Bachelor of Business in Marketing or Communication or equivalent experience / other qualification
• A minimum of eight (8) years' experience in industry and a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role • Current C Class Drivers Licence
• National Criminal History Check
• Working with Children Clearance (Ochre card)
