Manager Marketing, Communication and EngagementThis position collaborates across the organisation to deliver cost effective and efficient communications, marketing, and engagement services to the organisation. It interprets high level strategy into priority communications campaigns, projects, and programs and oversees the day-to-day output, management, evaluation, and reporting of a professional team across the disciplines of marketing, communications, internal communications, and engagement. The role leads and builds organisational capacity in the application of engagement practices based on IAP2 (International Association Public Participation) principles and approaches to inform priorities and decision-making by Council.
About you You must have extensive experience in the relevant fields of marketing, communications and/or engagement, and a passion for engaging with your community. As a leader, you would describe yourself as collaborative, proactive, and self-directed, with the capacity to lead innovative projects whilst fostering effective internal and external relationships.
The successful applicant will:
Hold a Bachelor-level qualification in Marketing/Communications/other relevant fields or have equivalent professional experienceHave a minimum of five (5) years' industry experience and at least three (3) years in a leadership roleAbility to obtain a National Police CheckPossession of a valid Class C Drivers Licence.Want to know more?
