Network Design and Integration is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning, responsible for delivering transport priorities through the development and delivery of an integrated pipeline of projects and supporting the Major Transport Infrastructure Program.
Network Pipeline and Program division sits within the Network Design and Integration group, focusing on transforming network strategies, plans, and requirements into an integrated pipeline, leading the development of project options, and providing program-wide coordination and support.

About the Role The Manager Major Road Program is responsible for leading the development, prioritization, and sequencing of Victoria's forward major roads program, including performing the client function for the development of business cases by MRPV.
The role involves representing the DTP and working proactively and collaboratively across a range of government and non-government stakeholders to broker agreements to achieve whole-of-government outcomes. Strong collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders is required in this role.
The role also involves preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence, and providing advice to senior executives and the Minister. In addition to the above, this role may involve evening or weekend work, including occasional overnight travel.
Position Outcomes This role involves collaborating with agencies and departmental teams to plan and prioritize major road investments, providing expert guidance on business cases and budget processes, and offering strategic advice to leadership on the Major Roads Program. Additionally, the role requires building strong stakeholder relationships, managing complex reports and briefings, and leading a team to foster high performance and innovation aligned with the DTP Corporate Plan.
