Employment Type:Appointment to the role is on a permanent, flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight).Salary: $129,302.00 to $136,089.00 per annum plus superannuationPosition Objective: Lead and manage the effective and efficient operations of the Loan Services team, responsible for the end-to-end management of the department's $200m loan portfolio. In addition to responsibilities for operational management, the role provides regular reporting and specialist advice to the Tasmanian Development and Resources Board (TDR). This role reports regularly to the Board and its subcommittees on the performance of the loans portfolio and provides advice on emerging issues and trends. The role also supports lending managers within the department in matters relating to loan security, risk management, and post-approval management of loans. This role leads the continuous improvement of loan management policy and processes within the department to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency of service.Duties:Lead and manage the Loan Services team responsible for pre-approval advice and the support of post-approval loan management, promoting strong internal and external client service and a business-focused approach.Provide authoritative and consistent advice, support, and skills coaching across business areas responsible for delivering loans to external clients, working in a professional and client-focused manner, developing effective and productive stakeholder relationships, and leading business improvement projects.Analyse lending metrics to provide regular quality reporting and specialist advice to the Tasmanian Development and Resources (TDR) Board and its subcommittees on loan quality and risk, financial and commercial viability, and ongoing compliance with TDR's credit policy.
