As an accomplished leader, you will oversee the Library Services function that provides high-quality experiences for visitors and residents of Brisbane.
Reporting to the General Manager, Customer Services, your expertise in relationship management will empower you to effectively navigate and address complex challenges.
As a values-driven executive leader, you possess the mindset necessary to guide your team, fostering successful collaboration with fellow executives and a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
This opportunity will see you form part of a cohesive and collaborative executive team with a focus on public-facing customer services.
In this role, you will need to strike a balance between operational governance and strategic vision, effectively managing resources and assets.
Driving initiatives and superb customer experiences, you will be responsible for leveraging cost-effective technologies that drive the best outcomes for the community and users of our library service.

Lifestyle and Community Services is responsible for providing a range of services and facilities for the residents of Brisbane and has primary responsibility for delivery contributing to two of the eight programs undertaken by Council.
The division provides public-facing customer services through the award-winning Contact Centre and a network of regional customer service centres/operational bases.
Operating 33 libraries, as well as management of more than 500 community facilities including sporting, cultural, and recreational facilities, the arts programs, and services supporting youth, multicultural and indigenous program.
The division is also responsible for compliance and regulatory services including community safety programs, traffic management, environmental health, animal management, building compliance and the issuing of licences and permits.
