Manager Information and Support Services Salary: $109,730 - $132,764 (plus superannuation)Fixed term: 2 yearsUsual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)Usual work location: 121 Exhibition St, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)The Role The Manager Information and Support Services role will be a part of a team supporting apprenticeship policy, projects and programs in Apprenticeships Victoria. The primary functions of the role will be to lead research and drafting of information in various formats that clarify rights, wages and responsibilities for apprentices, trainees and employers that are factual, clear and accessible and deliver on key program deliverables within specified timeframes.
Key accountabilities include:
Produce high-quality, accessible information material and communications that meet the needs of diverse audiences.Provide specialist advice on apprenticeship and traineeship industry, and employment information including legislation and regulation.Prepare and present written briefings, discussion papers, submissions and reports for the DJSIR executive, ministers or key decision makers.About You To be best suited to this role you will have sound project management, people management, problem-solving and research skills as well a highly developed editorial and written communication skills. An ability to work autonomously is required as well as an ability to quickly develop a detailed understanding of the apprenticeship and traineeship environment.
