About this position: An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager Information and Communications Technology to join the management team at Kingborough Council. This key management position is responsible for the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of the organisation's ICT infrastructure, systems and services. Reporting to the Director Business Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for aligning ICT initiatives with the organisation's strategic goals, ensuring optimal system performance and delivering innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. A key focus for the role is to provide progressive leadership, elevating the maturity of the business unit. This is an exciting opportunity to transform the digital space at Kingborough Council. About the successful candidate: Tertiary qualified, you will have proven technical knowledge, demonstrated project management experience and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Leading a small team and working across a diverse workforce, the role requires a progressive and innovative leader with high-level people-management skills and the ability to build and maintain a positive workforce culture. Further details: An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated including the private use of a motor vehicle, 12.5% superannuation and a rostered day off each month.
