The Informatics and Insights Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Manager Informatics and Insights to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity
The Manager, Informatics and Insights Unit has direct reports and makes a key contribution in the achievement of business goals by providing innovative reporting solutions using Business Intelligence tools and corporate information systems.
The Manager, Informatics and Insights Unit provides effective leadership in development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of business intelligence tools and reporting solutions for the Mackay HHS to ensure that quality information and advice is readily available to Executive, Management, Clinicians and key stakeholders.
As the Manager, Informatics and Insights Unit, you will lead and facilitate the engagement of the organisation with opportunities identified through the effective use of Health Information to drive positive change.
The Manager, Informatics and Insights Unit reports to the Chief Information Officer, Digital Information Services, Corporate Services.
About our Hospital and Health Service
Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
