Mental Health Services, forming part of Mildura Base Hospital, offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region. The role The Manager of Infant, Child and Family Services is a new position to Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services (AMHWS). They provide specialised care for families, parents/carers and children aged 0-11. Reporting to the Director of Recovery and Wellbeing Services (RWS), this position will hold operational accountability for Infant, Child and Family Services, and will support development and implementation of new models of care as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Professionally recognised Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or other relevant discipline, as well as relevant professional registration.Demonstrated operational management skills within a relevant healthcare setting.Specialised knowledge and/or experience of mental health service provision for infants, children or families.Willingness to support and sustain health system changes – including participation in the design and implementation of new models of care.Relocation assistance Up to $15,000 incentive payment applies to eligible candidates Be reimbursed for rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more. The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
