About us The Resourcing and Purchasing Directorate is responsible for the management of the WA health system budget and the purchasing of health services from Health Service Providers, along with strategic procurement and contract management and the supporting policy, planning and research functions for these areas of responsibility.
We are looking for strategic, self-motivated, innovative individuals with strong conceptual and analytical skills who are interested in making a difference to the delivery of health services in Western Australia.
About the role As a Manager in the Budget Strategy Unit, you will be working with senior leaders and key stakeholders to coordinate the development of WA Health budget submissions through the State Budget cycle. Core functions include leading a high performing and agile team undertaking financial modelling, strategic budget analysis and advice and developing associated models and frameworks to inform resourcing. The position plays a key role in supporting the WA health system to respond to the evolving funding policy landscape and agenda.
