As part of the 'Value Chain' team within the Business Lending (BL) Business Controls and Monitoring team, you will be directly reporting to the Executive Manager and supporting the uplift in the risk culture and maturity of the business by driving embedment of risk framework and policy requirements and the effective risk management of issues, incidents and controls across BL.
You will join a team of risk professionals to provide high quality first line risk advice to Business Lending, to uplift their ability to proactively identify, manage, mitigate and monitor risks - focusing on risk assessments and value chain automation.
Some of the key accountabilities are: Ensuring that risks and potential impacts are effectively assessed and reported and/or escalated appropriately.Ensuring the BL, BL VC and EF VC Risk Profiles are developed and maintained to the Risk and Control Assessment Policy standard and Value Chain Framework requirements including the latest PCRM version.Conducting Quarterly Risk Assessments (for all risk classes including Financial crime) in accordance with policy requirements.Conducting deep dives into value streams and reporting to the VC Risk Forum on key insights/findings.Completing BCM Chapter VC Integration and ensuring Enabling Services remain integrated.What do I need? Substantial experience in a large and complex organisation with relevant risk management experience across multiple risk classes.Data Analytics experience including but not limited to Advanced Excel, Alteryx, Power BI and Python experience.Ability to work with large data sets and SQL skills.Strategic thinking and problem solving with a continuous improvement mindset.Strong judgement and decision making skills.Strong Leadership experience including motivating, inspiring and developing the team, fostering a high-performance and proactive risk culture.How do I apply?
