Delux Party Hire has been under new ownership for 6 months and is looking to capitalize on lead opportunities to achieve an upward trajectory of growth. The Manager's primary role is to lead this growth and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the process to deliver clean, safe, and quality hire equipment.
The Position: Reporting to the Directors, the Manager will be responsible for the Delivery & Installation Team(s) as well as the Day to Day Operations.
Showroom Staging, Cleaning and Maintenance Development and Execution of Marketing Plans Handling Sales Enquiries & Quoting Develop customer relationships Answer phones and attend to sales emails Administration: Transferring Quotes into Bookings & Invoicing Invoicing, Accounts, Payroll Organisation and Cleaning as required Customer communication Management: Supervise, lead and train team ensuring their work is always of the highest standard; Check cleanliness of hire stock is to the required standard; Monitor & have an in-depth understanding of business profitability; Manage day to day field operations in conjunction with Team Leaders; Responsible for team safety and maintenance of equipment; Communicating with clients to ensure their event delivery is successful; Recommendations to Directors of new hire equipment with full cost benefit analysis. What does the successful applicant look like? Attention to detail; small overlooked details cause undue stress to you and the team during peak hire periods Manual Open Drivers License Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel Demonstrated Leadership Skills Works well under pressure in demanding and changing roles Excellent Problem Solving Skills Can work to deadlines as required This role wears many hats from Administration, Operations, Staff Management, Accounts, Procurement and when required, physical assistance on site. Self Driven Remuneration: Negotiable on applicant experience. The Manager will have a very autonomous role with the Directors wanting to allow the Manager the freedom to do what needs to be done. As such, the remuneration will be a base salary plus performance bonuses.
