Working closely with the Director, you will lead a team to design and deliver several discreet project packages designed to improve service outcomes for our clients and the Queensland Government by using contemporary project management approaches, high-quality stakeholder engagement and consultation. Knowledge, experience and/or understanding of human service delivery and complex systems is relevant.

Workplace Location: The Program Manager's key responsibilities are to: Work within Strategic Projects, Reform and Innovation to design, develop and manage project activities, materials, artefacts, and documents in support of a departmental program of work and related outputs.Manage and lead projects and teams, including the supporting budget, to ensure successful and timely delivery of project objectives and outcomes.Lead a multi-disciplinary team to collaborate across project teams and stakeholders to align communication, change strategies and project outcomes supporting the requirements of Service Delivery.Provide high level advice to AS&RS project teams, departmental senior executives, including the Deputy Director-General, Disability Accommodation, Respite and Forensic Services on any project issues or risks that may inhibit the successful delivery of projects.Manage collaboration with AS&RS functional and operational experts, and professional services consultants.Initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.Research, write, review, and edit a variety of products including media releases, speeches, presentations, feature articles and a broad range of communication collateral and campaign executions for various audiences across both traditional and social media.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
