In the role of Manager (Program Delivery), you will be responsible for leading a significant business transformation project and providing advice in relation to project governance activities, ensuring all program and departmental strategies and frameworks are adhered to. You must have a consultative and practical personal approach to managing projects within a challenging program environment.
Responsibilities and accountabilities will include: Lead and manage a diverse group of public servants and contractors, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment, overseeing the performance and development of team members, setting clear expectations, providing regular and open feedback, and facilitating opportunities for growth.Promote a healthy work culture, drive employee engagement initiatives, and advocate for the wellbeing and satisfaction of team members, ensuring a balanced approach to work that prioritises outcomes, corporate governance requirements, and team satisfaction.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project teams, with the Program Manager, and with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure a consistent approach.To be considered for the role you will have: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, mentor, and develop individuals and teams towards achieving organisational objectives, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented workplace culture.Ability to build and maintain productive relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes.Demonstrated ability to lead change in a complex environment by embracing change and lead with focus and optimism in an environment of complexity and ambiguity.Demonstrates accountability for the execution and quality of results through professionalism, persistence, and transparency.Experience working in a Project or Program environment would be desirable.For more information on this exciting opportunity, please read the Role Description with the Applicant Guide.
