Role Description
This is a full-time role as a WHS Manager at Capital Asphalt in Canberra. The WHS Manager will be responsible for overseeing workplace health and safety programs, conducting risk assessments, developing safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They will also collaborate with project teams to implement safety measures and provide training to staff.
Qualifications
Experience in developing and implementing WHS programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Certification or qualifications in WHS or related field
Previous experience in the construction or civil engineering industry is an advantage
