The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing ICT and Cyber security initiatives, creating and maintaining a professional, innovative, and future-focused ICT capability for Busselton Water.What you'll be doing/selection criteriaDeveloping and implementing the ICT strategic plan to align with the overall business strategyLeading and managing the ICT team to deliver high-quality, reliable and secure technology solutionsOverseeing the procurement, deployment and maintenance of hardware, software and networksEnsuring ICT systems, policies and procedures comply with relevant legislation and industry standardsProviding expert advice and guidance to Executive and Board on technology-related mattersIdentifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity through technologyMonitoring and reporting on ICT performance metrics to support continuous improvementEstablishing and promoting positive relationships with key stakeholdersDeveloping and monitoring annual ICT Operational and Capital BudgetsPlanning and delivering/facilitating ICT and Cyber Security training for the whole organisationWhat we're looking forA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related fieldSignificant experience in all facets of IT, including systems applications, business intelligence, networking, cyber security, database administration, hardware software and cloud computingDemonstrated experience in strategic and operational ICT leadership and management including financial and budgetary experience, procurement, vendor management and asset managementProven ability to lead and manage a team of ICT professionalsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAt least 3 years' experience in a similar roleWhat we offerBusselton Water is a trusted provider of high-quality water services to the local community.
