ABOUT THE ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to lead Council's Human Resources Business Unit on an 8 month term contract from January to September 2025. Working closely with the Human Resources Officers, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operational priorities along with achieving the strategic objectives for the organisation's Human Resource Management (HRM) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) functions. ABOUT USThe Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there. The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land, and is the perfect place to call home.

We offer a salary starting at $1,826.10 to $2,337.50 gross per week plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the position.
