In this full-time, permanent role, you will report to the CEO, based out of our Launceston office.
A key focus of the Manager, Human Resources role is to partner with internal stakeholders to consult and provide HR strategies and solutions that align with the Shaw vision and values while enhancing culture and business performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional seeking to step-up into a manager's role, to play a pivotal role in supporting the business and its managers.

You will partner with managers to deliver tailored solutions in employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning.

By overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, you will foster a positive workplace culture while navigating HR challenges.

Key areas of responsibility include:
Lead the development, implementation and regular review of HR Strategies to maximise employee engagement.
Partner with Senior Management, Managers and Supervisors in identifying business needs and solutions for organisation and functional structure, succession planning and employee development.
Support management in the performance review and development of employees to maximise their potential.
Oversee the training and development of Shaw employees to support career progression and development, workforce and succession planning strategies.
Manage the industrial and employee relations functions.
Ensure compliance with Federal and State workplace, safety, and workers compensation laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with WorkCover and RTW processes.
You will have a strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, workforce planning, and HR best practice.
This role will require the successful candidate to have the capacity to operate at both a strategic and operational level, with business / commercial acumen and an appreciation and understanding of the complexities of the drivers of such a diverse business.

You will have expertise in effectively translating strategy into day-to-day operational activities.

Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline are required.
