The QBCC is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate specialist to lead the Human Resource Advisory Services and the Human Resources Business Partners. You will consistently provide high level, expert strategic, tactical and operational HR advice, support and coaching that delivers clear business benefits and outcomes.Key Outcomes/AccountabilitiesThe aim of this role is to:Lead the delivery of human resource services, advisory function and operations across a broad range of areas through the employee lifecycle from onboarding to departure including performance management, addressing workplace conflict, employee grievances.Develop and implement HR policy and procedures, leaders' education, workforce planning and reporting to support leadership accountabilities and decision making, providing a consistent employee experience in core areas and ensuring compliance with employee relations requirements.Manage a high performing team ensuring the efficient organisation and operation of the HR Business Partnership and Advisory team in the delivery of services via a business partnership model.Build team member skills and capabilities through training, development and coaching activities and opportunities.Work collaboratively with teams across the HR Division to broker and develop solutions. Divisional teams additional to Human Resource Business Partnership and Advice include - Payroll, Recruitment, Learning and Development and Change Management, Employee Relations and Workplace Health and Safety.Lead the delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and other projects within the team and with internal customer groups to enhance people experience and improve systems.Strengthen stakeholder relationships to create working partnerships and high level of understanding of client needs to facilitate human resource management practices to support QBCC's people and leaders.Candidate attributesDemonstrated expertise in leading a high performing HR Business Partnership and Advice team including managing the team's activities and the day-to-day operations of complex and high-volume, fast paced work environment.Demonstrated experience in critical thinking within a complex system within a range of HR advice within a public sector setting across the employee lifecycle. These include but are not limited to - performance management, workplace conflict, employee grievances, leader education, implementation of HR policy and procedures, recruitment, work health safety, workforce planning and reporting, and industrial and employee relations.Application of expert knowledge regarding relevant legislation and other regulations for the Queensland Public Sector to ensure safe workplace practices consistent with legislative and industrial obligations.Demonstrated experience in leading HR focused projects and change management required including the development and implementation of policy, procedure, and processes to streamline workflow and achieve efficiencies.Proven experience handling all manner of complex and sensitive matters including the maintenance of confidentiality and professionalism in all stakeholder interactions.Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences.Proven experience within a multi-disciplinary HR team delivering services and initiatives in a complex environment undergoing change.Before applying...Please refer to the attached QBCC applicant information document and ensure you are eligible to be considered.
