As the Manager of the Housing Support and Linkages team, you will lead diverse programs dedicated to improving housing stability, safety, health, and wellbeing. This role oversees impactful initiatives such as the Community Reconnections Program, Tenancy Plus, and the Rough Sleeping Program, providing critical support to those facing homelessness or housing insecurity. You'll also manage community-focused programs like the Friday Feed Community Meals and the No Interest Loan Scheme, offering practical solutions to support vulnerable individuals and families. With a focus on assertive outreach, case management, and collaborative support, this position allows you to lead meaningful work, build community connections, and drive positive outcomes. A full list of key duties is outlined in the Position Description, but includes responsibilities in: Manage program funding delivery in relation to project grants and evaluation reports.Undertake research, service mapping, needs analysis and program evaluation to meet best practice and inform program planning and implementation.Lead and effectively administer the programs services in accordance with program service plans, service agreements and funding body requirements, including providing operational support to the staff in the programs.Act as Line Manager as required.Do your skills include: Demonstrated understanding of issues confronting disadvantaged people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.Ability to make timely, sound decisions and assessments regarding individuals and families particularly when under pressure.Demonstrate a working knowledge of case management, practice frameworks and models relevant to working with individuals and families.Demonstrated effective leadership skills and ability to facilitate a team approach to achieve service objectives.Are your credentials: A minimum qualification of a sector recognised and accredited Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Welfare Work or equivalent. (Qualifications must be approved by recognised professional bodies: ie. AASW, Community Services Council, APS etc.)A current Drivers Licence.About Brophy: Brophy Family & Youth Services has supported children, young people, families, and the southwest Victorian community for almost 50 years.
