Manager Home Support Services

We are looking for a permanent Manager Home Support Services located at our Ascot offices at 234 Great Eastern Highway, Perth.Our preference is for a full-time employee Mondays to Fridays. Office hours are from 9am to 5.00pm, with some flexibility. The role is subject to a six-month probation.Salary: Level 7 SCHADS Award at an hourly rate of $56.13 to $58.47 depending on experience plus super.Option to salary package up to $15,990 reducing taxable income. A company car will be made available during working hours.Our Manager Home Support Services is responsible for overseeing the planning, monitoring and delivery of home support services to our clients in accordance with our contractual obligations, relevant legislation, policies and procedures. The role also coordinates the delivery of clinical care services to clients by the clinical team.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:Qualification in aged care or community support and/or at least five years' experience in the aged care sector.Understanding of funding compliance requirements and the Aged Care Quality Standards.Demonstrated management and leadership experience in the community or aged care sectors and knowledge of relevant government-funded programs.Experience in risk management, quality assurance and compliance relating to quality aged care service delivery and clinical standards.Demonstrated ability to manage resources to deliver a high standard of clinical care.Experience leading diverse teams, ensuring KPIs are met by team members and that performance is managed.Demonstrated experience in maintaining client information systems.High level written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation skills.Experience in working with diverse clients and communities.Knowledge of diversity, access and equity issues for CaLD and LGBTIQ+ seniors.Proficiency in a second language.This is an opportunity for a committed and passionate individual to work with a supportive management team to make a significant contribution to Umbrella's growth.How to applyAttached is the Position Description outlining the responsibilities and position requirements for your information.
