Registration Services are seeking a Manager to lead teams in delivering regulatory operations of the Home Education Unit in conjunction with the Director and Executive Director.
You will be dedicated to contributing to the development of policies, systems and processes to support the regulatory services for home education in Queensland.

Our vision is one of equity and excellence in a progressive, high performing education system that realises the potential of every student.About the role:As the Manager, you will:Manage the operations of the Home Education Unit and implement principles of best practice regulation as applicable to the registration of home education students in Queensland.Exercise original thinking, creativity and significant levels of independent judgement to plan, organise, direct and determine goals and priorities for regulation of home education registrations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage and provide leadership to a team with key responsibilities for regulation of home education registrations in Queensland.Undertake, monitor and review complex regulatory activities, making recommendations and decisions relevant to home education, in accordance with the principles of good administrative decision making.Instigate and manage operational policy, procedure and process initiatives to support continuous quality improvement in efficient and effective regulatory decision-making practice, in line with risk-based regulatory frameworks.Resolve conflicts in regulatory matters by effectively managing relationships, accurately applying the legislation and escalating matters when needed.Contribute to the development of innovative and strategic solutions which achieve high performance regulatory outcomes to ensure credible, accountable and transparent educational regulatory practice.Apply significant levels of independent judgement in keeping with the complex nature of work undertaken and the allocation of resources within the constraints or guidelines laid down by senior executives.
