About the opportunity
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Safety Operations, the role of Manager, Health, Safety, and Rail Safety is required by the Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) to cover parental leave for a period of 15 months. You will promote a safe work culture and support the coordination of all Rail Safety, Occupational Health, and Safety aspects of activities undertaken by project staff and contractors during the development and procurement phase of the project.
A key focus of this role is to support Work Package G, Linewide and Operations, development and delivery teams within SRLA, and ultimately the delivery contractors and operators. You will lead the rail safety systems development and implementation for this package of work, providing expert advice, input, and influence from your Constructability, Maintainability, Operability, and Deliverability of Rail Infrastructure and/or Rolling Stock experience from Major Rail Projects or Rail Operator operations.
