ABOUT PERTH OFFICE South32's corporate office is based in the heart of Perth's CBD. The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk and Technical. Our office is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

We understand and value the benefits of flexibility and operate a hybrid work model (in the office and from home).
The Manager Group Training & Learning role sets and manages the South32 training and learning standard, framework, and governance to build the competence of our people to perform their work safely and productively in line with all legislative and regulatory obligations.
Reporting to the Group Manager, HR Strategy Performance & Culture, key responsibilities include:
Review and maintain the South32 Training Standard, Training Framework, and supporting Guidelines; Manage the development and delivery of pragmatic, fit for purpose, value adding and accessible training and learning solutions to meet identified training analysis needs and support the business strategy; Establish a global training stewardship regime to ensure compliance and training effectiveness and to identify improvement opportunities. ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Deep understanding of learning and development including adult learning principles, instructional design, and program evaluation; Experience leading the design and implementation of learning strategies, policies, projects and initiatives in commercial and/or industrial environments, utilising technology for improved learning transfer for ROI; Ability to prioritise and manage competing stakeholder demands; Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; Outcome focus, results orientated with commitment to delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget; Tertiary qualification in HR, Learning and Development, Education or Business (preferred).
