Manager Governance, Risk and Communications Job type: Full time Career level: Management (Manager/Director of Staff) Reporting to the General Manager Corporate & Community, and assisted by a small team, the key purpose of the role is to enhance Council's corporate governance, legal, risk management and corporate communications, ensuring good governance principles are applied and legislative compliance requirements met. The successful candidate will provide high quality service and advice to Council at all levels regarding governance, policies and registers, legislative compliance, delegations, public integrity, risk management, Work Health and Safety and community engagement. Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent level experience in governance, risk management and/or Work Health and Safety along with demonstrated experience in leading a team is essential. Local Government experience although desirable is not essential. Full Time or Part Time candidates will be considered.
