The Opportunity We seek an experienced Manager Governance, who is responsible for management, review and continuous improvement of Council's governance framework, risk management framework, and legal advice.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to developing and leading the implementation of a best-practice Corporate Governance Framework and providing strategic advice to Senior Executive and Elected Members on matters relating to improving the governance of policy, planning, and operations of Council, managing the review and implementation of Elected Member and Operational policies including the development of policy suites across the organisation, and managing Governance team members and supporting skill development across the business unit to optimise Council operations during times of leave and reduced resourcing.
