The Corporate Performance Branch of Council are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Manager Governance.

Supporting the CEO and General Managers are twenty one branches which provide the major operational, technical and service delivery functions of the Council.
Each branch is headed by a Manager responsible for strategic direction and operational performance through the effective management of people, resources and relationships.
About the opportunity Lead the Governance branch to achieve the relevant outcomes in the Council Plan. Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans directly relevant to this role. Lead a customer-centric approach which is demonstrated throughout decision-making processes. What you will bring Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in strategically leading and managing an operational division. Highly developed leadership skills including the ability to live the principles of the organisation. Demonstrated ability and desire to contribute to an effective Strategic Leadership Team, and to also create high performing teams that align with the customer-centric organisational direction and produce desired results. Demonstrated strategic planning abilities including conceptual and analytical skills. How we will support you Relocation assistance to support your move to the region.
