Reporting to the General Manager Resource Development, and working in a transforming team within Iron Ore, you will:

Adjust strategies as needed while staying aligned with the overall vision.Provide direct leadership to all reports including annual cyclical activities, regular performance conversations and support for team and individual technical development.Provide technical mentoring and development across the Geoscience function supporting building capability in field geoscience processes.Ensure team compliance to all relevant standards and procedures, including quality, relating to data collection, field work and tenure reporting alongside improvements.Ensure clear alignment of technical priorities across Resource Development and with other key stakeholders (e.g.
studies).What You'll BringA commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.A continuous improvement mindset.Tertiary Degree in geoscience or related orebody knowledge technical discipline.Industry experience, leading exploration and/or equivalent team.Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in geology and tenure management.Thorough understanding of field geological programs, mineral resource reporting and progression of new mine development.Deep strategic thinking and numerical/analytical skills.
Able to maintain perspective and switch between strategic and tactical priorities quickly.Effective stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to develop productive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to frame and convey complex messages to a range of stakeholders using a wide range of communication methods.Leaders with a strategic mindset, operational focus, curiosity and drive to contribute are strongly encouraged to apply.

Travel to the Pilbara is required on a weekly basis.
