About the role: Our Funds team has an exciting vacancy, as the team is seeking a Manager, Fund Services.
You will be working closely with a team based out of Sydney and a dedicated offshore Global Service Centre (GSC) team to service this client.
You will be primarily working in the client's Melbourne office as the primary contact to provide them with immediate support and to optimise synergy between the operational teams.
Key responsibilities: Be the client's key & central point of contact in Australia to coordinate the end-to-end service delivery for a key client that has established multiple fund investment structures within Australia.Collaborate with the client's finance team on daily processing, financial reporting, accounting and tax matters, entity management needs and reporting to their internal management and key stakeholders.Ensure that financial records are maintained and reported in compliance with lawful and accepted procedures and policies.Prepare monthly management accounts and manage the entire financial reporting process.Oversee and be responsible for coordinating with our offshore and onshore teams to run the weekly vendor management and AP payment function.Coordinate the monthly recharge and expense management function for the client.Assist the team with entity governance function with ASIC for the client.Ensure all work performed by Vistra GSCs is performed in-line with agreed SLAs.Key requirements: Advance level in Excel and other Microsoft Office Products (Access, PowerPoint, and Word)Chartered Accountants ANZ or CPA Qualified, and has strong knowledge of AASB Accounting standards.Significant accounting experience (5+ years) preferably in audit, advisory, corporate accounting or financial accounting.Extensive experience in financial reporting, including financial statement preparation experience.Strong corporate finance-focused project management skills.Knowledge of Fund investment structures in Australia is highly desirable.Experienced in managing corporate accounting functions for a high-volume transaction client.Ability to take a leading role in clear and effective communication with the client and across Vistra; and ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders including colleagues, clients, auditors and suppliers.Have a high level of resilience and ability to multi-task and be comfortable with managing difficult situations as they arise.Company Benefits: In our Australian offices, we believe in putting our employees' well-being first!
