Join our global Operational Risk team based in Sydney and support the uplift of our fraud risk management framework through the continued evolution of our fraud policies and our independent oversight of fraud risk management applied across Macquarie's businesses and support functions.

What role will you play?In our Operational Risk team, your role as the Manager will be instrumental in the continuing evolution of Macquarie's Fraud Risk Management Framework. You will be involved in the uplift, communication and governance of the fraud suite of policies as well as determining clear principles and oversight metrics to measure the effectiveness of those policies and the appetite of fraud risk across the group.
You will have the opportunity to ensure that fraud risk and control self-assessments reflect the risk profile of the businesses, current and comprehensive, whilst analysing fraud incidents, issues and related uplift initiatives across the group. Our thematic reflections across these, together with horizon risk scanning, is aggregated into management and Board reporting to increase the visibility on internal and external fraud risks faced by the group.
What you offerExperience in risk management within a financial institution and/or professional services firm, ideally with fraud risk management practices exposure.Tenacious and agile, with a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.An analytical and lateral thinker with a positive and constructive approach to problem solving.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask, present new ideas and work both independently and collaboratively.Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and build effective working relationships.About the Risk Management GroupIn our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
