$140,000 per year plus superannuation 6 weeks annual leave! Free parking! Based in Woolner Reporting to Executive Manager Operations, the Manager Fleet & Equipment will be responsible for developing the strategic direction including logistics and financial modelling for City of Darwin fleet & equipment. The position will lead the delivery of the City of Darwin Fleet Management Strategy and all functions of the workshop to ensure the needs of the business and operational objectives are achieved through a focus on best practice, innovation and sustainable asset management.
Key Areas of Service Delivery Responsibilities will include but not limited to:- In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, manage acquisition, disposals and replacement programs to provide a fit for purpose, cost-effective, operational fleet & equipment in support of requirements, quality outcomes and risk management. Foster an environment and organisational culture which encourages and enables change, innovation, and improvement to deliver CoD Strategic directions, community expectations and staff performance and satisfaction. Research emerging technologies, systems, processes, and management practices to identify opportunities to innovate and continually improve business practices.
