As our Manager - Financial Reporting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance and quality of financial reporting across the Worley Group. As part of this role, you will support the Group's monthly Board, Audit and Risk Committee and external reporting requirements. In addition, you will play a key part in executing key reporting priorities across the Group.

What you'll do Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Support key deliverables, including the monthly Board report, Audit and Risk committee papers and supporting documentation requirements.Communicate guidance to the Group, including key reporting and audit focus areas.Play a key role in supporting the Group's audit requirements.Identify opportunities to improve the reporting process and drive other efficiency enhancements across the function.Use in-depth knowledge of accounting standards to analyse complex financial data, transactions and reporting issues across the organisation.Prepare the Group's technical position papers, update/improve Worley's standards and policies and develop guidance and training materials for the Group.Provide support and advice to the business on technical accounting issues and queries.Work closely with Worley's M&A team to support decision making across the transaction lifecycle.Contribute to the progress of the Group's Finance Transformation initiatives.Lead discussions with people across all aspects of the business while demonstrating an ability to translate technical accounting concepts to non-financial people.Partner with other functions and non-finance stakeholders to facilitate capital allocation and other business decisions.What you'll have CA or equivalent professional qualification coupled with a degree in accounting and/or another appropriate academic major.Significant experience as a Financial Accountant coupled with experience from within a large accounting firm.A self-starter who is able to work relatively autonomously, taking full ownership of work streams within their remit.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to lead calls and collaborate with senior finance stakeholders and non-finance stakeholders across the business.Well-developed written communication skills, with the ability to simplify accounting concepts and to convey them effectively to a broad audience.Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, AAS and/or US GAAP) and the ability to translate it to a commercial context.Why you should apply Take advantage of our global on-line learning platform!Competitive remuneration & employee benefits.Enjoy a varied & challenging role.Career development opportunities beyond this role.Moving forward together We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
