Boasting an annual revenue of $1.5 billion, a workforce of 12,000 employees, and 146 schools, BCE is a significant Not-for-Profit (NFP) entity governed by the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission Act and Canon Law.
As BCE endeavours to fulfil the outlined priorities in its Strategic Plan (2025 – 2027), it seeks a new Manager - Financial Performance and Innovation to deliver strategic leadership in financial management, planning, and digital innovation of finance to maximise BCE's financial impact.
About the Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Manager- Financial Performance and Innovation will lead key initiatives to transform BCE's financial planning and analysis function.
Overseeing a small but capable team, you will drive excellence, foster development, and position the team as highly valued business partners across the organisation.
As the Manager - Financial Performance and Innovation, you will collaborate with a range of stakeholders to develop tailored management reporting and digital tools that support informed decision-making.
As the owner of the budgeting and forecasting process, you will undertake a comprehensive review of processes and models to ensure their accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals.
With BCE designing its digital roadmap for Financial Services, you will work closely with the Head of Finance and IT to lead this transformative journey.
Your role will focus on identifying and prioritising technological innovations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enhancing financial applications and data processes.
This transformation will align resources, streamline workflows, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
About You A CA/CPA-qualified finance executive with a proven track record of successfully leading a range of transformation initiatives, you will thrive in this role.
Experience in the not-for-profit sector and familiarity with the unique dynamics of a faith-based organisation will be highly advantageous.
Your career demonstrates success in planning and implementing best-practice systems and policies, driving change, and enhancing your team's business partnering capabilities.
You have a strong history of implementing effective financial management strategies that improve operational efficiency and empower teams to take ownership of their budgets and performance.
