Key Responsibilities
Management, development and mentoring of staff.
Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with Australian GAAP for Professional Service Firms.
Design, develop and analyse financial models and reports.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues.
Analyse management accounting reports and provide insight and advice to key stakeholders.
Develop strong relationships across the business.
Review and improve business processes.
Advise key stakeholders on practical and commercial issues and develop solutions which genuinely add value to the business.
Maintain accounting records in accordance with firm policies and procedures including processing of journal entries.
Share knowledge and best practice to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team.
Prepare cash flow forecasts, identify risks and cash flow sensitivities.
Maintain records of partner capital and calculate payments to partners.
Assist with the annual partner profit assessment and oversee the maintenance of supporting financial models and records.
Assist with other Group Finance activities as and when required.
To Be Successful In This Position
CA / CPA Qualified (or equivalent).
3+ years senior management accounting / FP&A experience.
Proven experience with:
Leading teams.
Business partnering.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Desirable
Experience with Workday / Adaptive Planning.
Experience working in an accounting / professional services firm.
