SNAICC strongly encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply About the role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Manager Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations for SNAICC.
The incumbent will take responsibility for leading budgeting preparations, reporting, payroll management, compliance and end of financial year requirements.
We are looking for someone who: Is a Chartered Accountant (CA) or holds a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) accreditationHas 5+ years demonstrated experience in a financial management positionHas proven strategic planning experience at management levelHas proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly ExcelHas demonstrated creative and critical thinking skillsHas the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyHas proven stakeholder relationship management and the ability to build relationships and strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholdersHas excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and political nousHas strong organisational, negotiation and project management skillsHas high-level communications skills, including demonstrated ability to lead internal communications, and communicate with confidence to staff and management on finance-related mattersHas supervision skills with a demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and provide ongoing professional developmentAbout SNAICC Established in 1981, SNAICC – National Voice for our Children is the national non-government peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
