• Lead the rollout of new counselling programs for respondents to Family Violence Intervention Orders to promote accountability and encourage behaviour change.
• Drive quality service responses and connect innovative programs to building new knowledge and continuous improvement.
• Contribute specialist knowledge and skills to the leadership of the Family Violence Division of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
About the role The Manager – Family Violence Programs provides program oversight and supports the design and implementation of new programs and improvements to existing family violence programs, including the Court Mandated Counselling Orders Program.
The role requires program and policy expertise across justice and family violence service systems to influence, lead and deliver quality programs and service reform across the Court.
About you MCV is seeking an experienced leader, with relevant qualifications and the ability to drive program reform, oversee contracts and support staff. You will have a strong understanding of family violence, especially its intersections with courts and the justice system.
You will be able to work flexibly with new and developing programs, as well as helping to shape contributions to emerging evidence about what works to change the behaviour of people using family violence.
