This is an opportunity to join our expanding team of highly experienced and passionate people who want to make Australia a better place. The Role Applications are now invited for newly created position of Manager – Family Dispute Resolution. Reporting to the General Manager Family Dispute Resolution, the position is responsible for two primary functions: The operational management of Family Disputes Resolution and Family Relationship Centres programs; and The provision of clinical practice supervision within their own specialist discipline. This includes, but is not limited to: Provide supervision to direct reporting personnel within their allocated sites, including monitoring of clinical skills and competencies to support employees in delivering safe and high-quality services Provide information and advice to practitioners on the management of complex cases Contribute to the on-going review and improvement of clinical standards and practice including contribution to quality accreditation and outcome measurements Monitor employee caseloads and KPI's with the view to support employees to meet KPI's and create a fair and equitable team environment Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, advice and coaching to direct reports, supporting skill development, continuous improvement and increased competency Provision of clinical supervision Manage staff resource allocation based on local demand Management of Program Coordinators roles Promote a regional culture of cohesive and responsive service provision to clients through effective leadership Attend to all human resource managerial responsibilities for reports including; recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, performance planning and review and performance improvement Contribute to Research projects, tenders, whitepapers, major projects and other activities Required Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated commitment to Child Safety including evidence of active involvement in child safety activities and initiatives Demonstrable career experience as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Extensive experience in clinical practice management (clinical supervision) of Mediators Tertiary qualifications in Family Law, Mediation or other equivalent relevant discipline Proven ability to manage FDR services in a geographically dispersed/multi-site organisation Knowledge of, and experience in, working within the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and its amendments Knowledge of current theory and practice relating to the provision of community services Employee Benefits Better Place Australia is serious about being an employer of choice and to back that claim we offer: Generous above award salary rates Salary packaging (which increases your take home pay) Additional paid annual leave (between Christmas and New Year) Annual leave loading of 17.5% Twelve weeks paid parental leave Paid study leave and extensive professional development opportunities Better Place Australia offers a workplace culture reflective of a vibrant, learning organisation where our people are highly engaged in their work and committed to making a difference.
