Senior Administrative Officer 1 (Remuneration Package Range $150,506 - $167,941) Governance and Strategy Darwin Ongoing full time vacancy is available. Are you passionate about driving evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement? NT Police is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead program evaluation, research, and strategic advice initiatives.
This role will be integral in shaping program investments and supporting high-level decision-making across the organisation. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working collaboratively, and can turn complex data into actionable insights, we'd love to hear from you.
Provide strategic advice to build the NT Police's evidence base, monitor performance, recognise achievements, and identify risks requiring action. Lead research, analysis, and evaluation to improve a wide range of programs delivered by NT Police and partner organisations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop evaluation plans, program logics, and data matrices. Prepare and present detailed reports, briefings for senior management, and government documents, ensuring complex information is accessible to diverse audiences. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, strategic thinking, and innovation by identifying and reporting on emerging trends. The Northern Territory Emergency Service is responsible for facilitating Emergency Management planning, raising public awareness of potential disasters and providing a response capability for emergency events through dedicated volunteers, in cooperation with NT and Local Government, as well as community groups.
Members of the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) are our organisation's most important asset. The NTFRS plays a major part in ensuring the safety of all Territorians by attending a wide range of incidents such as road accidents, chemical spills, industrial accidents, structure fires, grass and bush fires as well investigating the cause of fire and building and plan inspections and educating the public about the importance of fire prevention and fire safety.
The Northern Territory Police Force has developed into a modern well-respected force. It is equipped to meet the needs of the community and members are trained to keep ahead of today's criminals and their methods.
