Manager Enterprise Risk
As our Manager Enterprise Risk, you will support the implementation of our risk management framework, consulting widely across the risk function and with our Business Controls teams.
You will focus on assessing risk maturity and risk culture, supporting uplifts where required, including developing and delivering risk training.
You will support the management of our risk committees, driving the consistency, quality and insights delivered through risk reporting.
You'll make an impact by:
Monitoring and evolving the Risk Management Framework, supporting delivery of the annual Board risk appetite, ad-hoc risk appetite setting, and supporting the CPS220 review processes. Delivering enterprise risk reporting through to risk committees including preparation of the CRO reports and other enterprise risk profiles, risk maturity, risk culture and risk appetite reporting. Supporting the secretariat for risk committees, including maintenance of the committee calendar ensuring effective risk committee conversations and issue escalation in line with governance requirements. Working with Business Controls (Line 1 risk) and senior leaders across the organisation to ensure consistent application of the RMF across the organisation. Delivering CRO Division risk management activities including risk and control assessments, issue and incident management. Tracking emerging risks for the organisation and identifying enterprise and business line level issues through thematic reviews and/or deep dives. To succeed in this role, you will have:
5+ years' experience in a similar role within the Financial Services sector. Experience working within a three lines of defence model for managing risk. Knowledge of relevant financial services regulatory and compliance considerations. Experience in managing and influencing multi-faceted stakeholders (internal and external) to meet competing priorities, different needs, and non-aligned expectations. Ability to build strong relationships at all levels to clearly communicate good risk management practices. Experience in writing Board and Committee papers, policy and advice.
