The role supports the establishment and then leads and is responsible at a detail level for the ongoing implementation, application management, governance, assurance functions, user acceptance and continuous improvement of the Department's Transport Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo/ArcGIS) across the entire asset base lifecycle to effectively support the wider Department of Transport and Planning's management of the State's Transport network.The role is critical and responsible in enabling both the effective management of the Enterprise Asset Management System applications from a business or functional perspective and assisting data custodians to ensure the ongoing quality and integrity of asset information maintained within the Enterprise Asset Management System Applications. The role is further required to promote and facilitate the supply of large data-sets, as required, to the wider Department and State.The role includes the key function of ensuring that the integrity of the ongoing integration between the Enterprise Asset Management System and the Spatial Asset data within the Department's Transport Spatial platforms is maintained.
