This role will see you provide leadership and functional expertise to drive world class delivery of the capital portfolio and deliver governance and technical stewardship across the Saraji mine site and broader BMA Assets.The role is Dysart/Moranbah based working a Monday to Friday, offering flexible working arrangements.Your key responsibilities in this role would be:Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainability.Monitors and manages portfolio performance, identifies critical activities, monitors the project plan/schedule and drives continuous improvement initiatives to deliver the capital portfolio in line with safety standards, requirements, budget and scope.Provide leadership to teams throughout the project lifecycle, focused on the governance and execution of construction strategies, standards / frameworks and integration and interface management.Manage Asset Integrity for the sites assets (draglines, dams, stacker/reclaimers, electrical infrastructure, pipelines etc) and ensure compliance to Engineering Standards for all newly procured plant and equipment.Govern the Management of Change process for all modifications and improvements to infrastructure and equipment;Ensure all documents and drawings are managed in accordance with the blueprint standard.Manage costs according to the budget and be accountable for regular forecasting and rectifying variances.Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.Lead the creation of an environment in which lessons learned and external best practices are part of the operational processes and identify capital efficiency initiatives and productivity improvements.Implement positive communication and cultural processes to support project and operational outcomes.Participate in the 5YP/2YB planning process.Take a look at what it's like to work with BMAhere.About YouYou will have:Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering related discipline;Significant Project Management experience, preferably via delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary investments and management of large teams;Advanced safety leadership expertise with proven commitment to safety and sustainability;Lead by example; confidence, resilience and determination to hold yourself and others accountable;Mature negotiation, mentoring and coaching skills that support a high performing team built on a learning mind-set;Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
