Position/Title - Manager - Engineering (Dot Net)
This profile will lead and manage a global development team focused on delivering solutions using .NET technologies.
The candidate should have 18+ years of industry experience, with a proven track record in engineering leadership, managing distributed teams, and driving projects from conception to delivery.
This profile will be responsible for overseeing the development lifecycle, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within scope, time, and quality standards.
Education:
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science from Premier Institutions only.
Experience:
18+ years of professional experience in software design and development, with at least 8 years in a managerial role leading engineering teams, preferably in a software product-based organization.
Strong expertise in .NET technology stack (C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, etc.)
and familiarity with modern software engineering practices.
8+ years working on a large n-tier application with rich business functionality.
Proven success in delivering large-scale software projects with global impact, utilizing Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a results-driven approach.
- Design and development of Software components based on requirements and application features based on technical design.
Technical Skill Sets
Established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET, Design patterns, SOA, Win form and Web form development.
Design, code, and test new Windows and web-based software applications.
Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
System Performance management.
Version Control and Collaboration Tools (Git, Github, AzureDevOps, TFS).
