ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for a Manager Emerging Technologies & Digital Asset Operations to drive global project work related to text-to-speech, immersive audio and generative AI.
In this position, you will work as part of an international team that facilitates launches of innovative listening experiences and process optimizing features. The Emerging Technologies & Digital Asset Operations team acts as an interface between Audible's global content organization and product/tech teams. In that capacity the team focuses on innovative and exclusive content, empowering creators and customers alike, guaranteeing quality, efficiency and operational excellence.
The Manager Emerging Technologies & Digital Asset Operations researches, outlines and tests process automation opportunities by leveraging innovative tools and state-of-the-art technologies. You will foster the qualitative processing of digital assets in order to ensure the timely ingestion and publication of audiobooks, audio dramas and podcasts.

As a Manager, Emerging Technologies & Digital Asset Operations, you will...
Outline, plan, coordinate and recapitulate project workFollow current technological developments, identify and outline potential use cases within Audible's content organizationPerform data-driven experiments, cooperate with stakeholders from content as well as product/tech, lead and perform user acceptance testingDefine quality guardrails, map out improvement concepts, establish documentation frameworksBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in project management, audio engineering, content management or related area.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to text-to-speech, immersive audio formats, generative AI and audio processing.
- Business fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Airtable, Confluence, Trello, Asana or similar.
- Knowledge in audio editing tools/DAWs, such as Pro Tools, Logic or similar.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Diversified language skill set is a plus.
- A sharp focus on efficiency and attention to detail.
- Experience with agile project management.
- Proactive attitude with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Passionate, structured and reliable self-starter who is able to take over ownership as well as work within a team and is comfortable with a fast pace and constant change.
