PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Lead the Economics and Pricing team by refining and implementing Power and Water Corporation's economic regulatory strategies that deliver on our commercial and regulatory obligations, significantly contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ownership and accountability for driving and leading change in the development of the regulation and Economic and Pricing team.Development and implementation of economic regulation and pricing strategies for the Corporation.Developing and submitting regulated revenue proposals, annual pricing proposals, and submissions to economic regulators.Economic modelling required as an input into regulatory proposals, submissions, and information requests.Management, maintenance, and analysis of regulatory financial and economic analytical tools and models.Engagement with Power and Water business units to provide strategic economic and pricing advice.Act under own initiative and respond pro-actively in a changing dynamic environment.Provide leadership to achieve business plan initiatives and Power and Water wide strategic initiatives.Drive staff engagement through active team management and open communication.Development and review of MyPlans for direct reports.COMPETENCY PROFILE: Builds Networks, Business Insight, Customer Focus, Develops Talent, Drives engagement, Drives results, Financial Acumen.
