Ecogroup, based in Dandenong South, Victoria manufactures commercial kitchen exhaust canopies under the brand Ecocanopy. We also manufacture stainless steel swimming pools under our other brand Bradford Products.A position exists to lead our Ecocanopy division. Ecocanopy's product portfolio is extensive and includes efficient, low velocity exhaust canopies, on demand (energy saving) systems, UV light grease removal technology and our Worksafe 2018 award winning EzyAXS canopy. All of which were developed in house by our talented engineering team.Ecogroup employs 25 people with many employees having in excess of 10 years of service. Our employees enjoy working in a vibrant growing company that is innovative and exciting, as well as offering fantastic opportunities for career progression.As the manager of Ecocanopy you will be working alongside the management team to lead the Ecocanopy business into the future. Overseeing the engineering and sales functions, you will use your sales and relationship skills to manage existing clients and build new relationships.Our clients are scattered around Australia and include HVAC consultants, HVAC engineers and commercial kitchen designers and manufacturers. We provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our client base and convert new business by conducting technical presentations and workshops. Ideally you will have a strong HVAC background so you can hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities:Lead the division to achieve continued sales growth.Spearhead new product development initiatives to ensure Ecocanopy remains at the forefront of industry innovation.Maintain and develop relationships by presenting to and visiting clients around Australia and providing industry leading customer service.Provide effective leadership to the sales and engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, high performance culture.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential.Minimum 5 years experience in the HVAC sector.Proven experience developing and nurturing relationships with customers and stakeholders.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Experience in project management and a keen eye for detail.Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Our Process:Candidates will be short listed and invited to attend a short teams interview.
