The team provides a range of advisory services to support clients to realise value out of their technology investment. Spanning the entire lifecycle of technology implementation, we support the development of digital strategies, business cases, assess the effectiveness of technology operating models and infrastructures, project manage technology implementations, provide assurance and advice to technology implementation projects, undertake process mapping and requirements analysis, business and disaster recovery planning, and identify better ways of procuring, implementing and using technology.About the RoleAs Manager – Digital and Technology Advisory, you will work within a multi-disciplinary consulting and advisory team to help solve complex problems for our clients. You will be responsible for providing advisory services tailored to client needs, performing technology assessments, overseeing engagement teams, managing client relationships, and securing work for our team.Key responsibilities will include:Provide strategic advice on digital transformation, technology implementation, innovation strategies, technology risk, and technology uplift tailored to client needs.Conduct assessments of clients' current technology landscapes and recommend solutions.Oversee engagement teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.Lead and manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and satisfaction.Drive business growth through proposal development, scoping, estimating, and budgeting.Mentor and develop junior team members and client staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.About YouMinimum of 5 years in technology consulting or advisory roles, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and client engagement, ideally gained from a client-facing professional services firm.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and the ability to design technology architectures that align with business goals.Proficiency in developing comprehensive digital and technology related business cases.Ability to assess and mitigate technology risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience in managing software development projects.Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, including various deployment models (public, private, hybrid) and service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).Working knowledge of data analytics tools and methodologies, including data visualisation and management platforms.Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, including risk assessment and compliance standards.Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, and blockchain, with the ability to evaluate their impact on client businesses.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive report writing and the ability to deliver ad-hoc and formal presentations to internal, client, and executive stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client challenges.Why BDO?Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market leading professional services firm.
