In this key role of Manager, Development Planning, you will lead the Development Planning Branch in the delivery of development assessment functions and a diverse range of projects.
In doing so, you will be expected to drive continuous improvement of integration and optimisation of planning and service delivery across the following functions:All development application and assessment services (from advice through to decision making and appeals)Infrastructure charging and Infrastructure AgreementsCompliance related to unlawful development and development approvalsSurvey plan processes, asset naming and numbering of lots, searches and recordsYou will join the leadership team assisting the General Manager (Planning and Regulatory Services) in the department's setting and achievement of Corporate and Operational Plan objectives consistent with Council's strategic direction.This role also offers a rare opportunity to be a critical part of the implementation of a new planning scheme and LGIP.
