Your New Role:
As the Manager, Data Readiness & Adoption you will be responsible for performing activities relating to communication, readiness and adoption of data culture and capability uplift. The role will ensure our organisation is ready to adopt and leverage enhanced data capabilities that will drive the fund's success. The role will develop a voice and branding of data at the Fund that can cut through and drive new ways of working and engagement methods. The change management aspects will be executed in line with the Fund's Organisational Change Management (OCM) and continuous improvement frameworks. You will act as a coach for senior leaders in helping them fulfil the role of data change sponsors and champions and will also support project teams in integrating readiness and adoption management activities into their project plans.
Key duties include but are not limited to: Foster the implementation of the Fund's data capabilities on a global level, including operational model elements such as People, Process, Systems, Data, and Vendor Services.Assist in the translation of data roadmaps and capability uplift activities into key messages and engagements to support the adoption of new ways of working.Collaborate with senior stakeholders within the Fund to drive an efficient, effective, and seamless integration of data capabilities across the value chain to ensure maximum value can be derived from those capabilities for the benefit of our members.Some of the core deliverables of the role include, but are not limited to, undertaking the following activities:Identify current data capability maturity and build a high level roadmap to drive key activities for increasing maturity within first 12 months.Create the voice and branding for data at the Fund.Develop high quality presentation and communication assets across a variety of formats and channels to deliver clear and engaging information to support key initiatives, roadmaps and vision.Chart the course for an integrated readiness and adoption plan that takes into consideration change being developed by the data services team and data capabilities being developed as part of other strategic programs.Develop and execute the change & training plan, bringing capability from across the fund together to supplement your own activities.Identify people metrics and measurements to track and report on change adoption and mitigate risks relating to the project change initiative.Identify post implementation training and adoption opportunities, and develop and implement actions to capitalise on these.Coach senior leaders to be change sponsors and role model data capability uplift themselves.Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.Identify potential staff and other stakeholder risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.Contribute to documentation and implementation of business processes to support change.Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the stakeholders being impacted by the change.Apply a structured change management approach and methodology to manage the staff impacts and other impacts caused by projects and change efforts. What You'll Need: Certification in change management methodology (preferably PROSCI certification).Tertiary qualifications in change management, human resources or related field and/or post graduate qualifications in human resources, communications or a related field.Experience in designing and delivering effective capability building programs.Demonstrated experience in Project Management Offices/Change functions within the financial services industry.Experience in supporting readiness and adoption within large sized data capability programs.Ability to liaise with a range of senior & executive stakeholders and influence them to drive optimal Business outcomes.Superior oral and written communication, and presentation skills.Sound understanding of / experience with the Superannuation Industry and the regulatory environment in which it operates.Experience in working within matrix reporting lines either functionally or regionally/globally.Business Program Management /Portfolio Experience in planning and delivering.Inclusive, collaborative and engaging approach; including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate and influence with a broad range of people at all levels.
