The Opportunity: We are seeking a transformational Manager - Data Platforms to lead our data governance and business intelligence initiatives, as we re-platform to Microsoft Fabric. This pivotal role will shape our data strategy and infrastructure, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to promote data-driven decision-making and support the organization's strategic, operational, and regulatory reporting needs.
Reporting to the General Manager of IT, you will oversee: Data Strategy: Define and implement a data strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. Platform Development: Lead the re-platforming, development, and maintenance of our Enterprise Data Platform. Business Intelligence Oversight: Manage the business intelligence function, delivering actionable insights. Data Governance: Introduce and manage a data governance framework to ensure quality and compliance. Reporting Maintenance: Support and upgrade reports, dashboards, and the data warehouse. To be considered for this role you will have / be: Bachelor's degree (or beyond) in Computer Science or Business. 5+ years of experience in BI implementation and operational reporting strategy. Strong expertise in business data modelling and managing data warehouses. Preferable with experience in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies. Proficient in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL pipelines. Skilled in data visualization tools, particularly SSRS & Power BI. Strong analytical and communication skills.
